Send to a friend The gardens are backed by open countryside with Harpers Brook running by at the bottom. Guests are free to enjoy our garden, weather permitting.
There is a large pond with stream feature visited by many different species of wildlife, hedgehogs, various species of birds, dragonfly, heron! and two wild ducks who took up residence one year and hatched out 13 ducklings in the shrubbery behind the pond before disappearing as suddenly as they arrived.
There are several seating areas where guests can sit and enjoy the sights and sounds of the garden. Adjoining the garden we have a large orchard where we keep our six banties (there were eleven until Mr... Fox paid us a visit!) and grow most of our organic fruit and vegetables for our own and guests use. Guests are often offered a complimentary glass of our home made refreshing cottage cider as they relax in the garden or in winter as a warming cider punch.
