COMFORT ZONE

Our pretty twin room has two period single beds with the bedroom colour scheme predominantly pale blues. There is a small wardrobe and dressing chest with full length mirror to the wardrobe and vanity mirror to the chest. Guest towels and toiletries are provided for the duration of our guests visit. Our comfortable double room has a Victorian double brass and iron bedstead with the bedroom colour scheme being beige and pink. There is a small fitted wardrobe with internal full length mirror and two Victorian chests one with vanity mirror. More...

Breakfast is taken in our oak beamed dining room with Inglenook fireplace and woodburning stove. The inglenook with its original salt hole and several tiny salt spoons, (used to keep the salt dry, salt being a very expensive item in early times) were found hidden by brightly painted orange built in cupboards and a tiled fireplace during our renovation work to the cottage. The gardens are backed by open countryside with Harpers Brook running by at the bottom. Guests are free to enjoy our garden, weather permitting. More...
